Guest Registration

Please read and understand the guest policy BEFORE registering any guests. You must agree to the Guest Policy by signing below or print out the policy page, sign, photograph / scan, and upload the signature page in the Supporting Documentation at the end of the form below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us using the information at the top of the page.

1. Only Members in good standing will be permitted to invite Guests to shoot.

2. Members who wish to bring a Guest to use the GC PBA Pistol and Rifle Range will submit an application to The Board for approval at least 24 hours prior to the Guest’s visit.

3. Guests and Members will read, understand and sign the Guest Policy.

4. Only after the Board approves and issues a Guest Pass, will a Guest be allowed to enter the GC PBA facility.

5. Members will fill out the Guest Application and will be required to include proof of Guest’s age and a copy of valid NYS handgun permit (if over the age of 21).

6. Guests who do not possess a handgun permit will be required to be more than 16 and less than 21 years old to shoot a handgun and at least 15 years old to shoot a rifle.

7. Guests will sign in and out of the Range Book.

8. All Guests shall wear their Orange Range Guest ID on their outermost garment while inside the Range property. Range identification card shall be returned to the GCPBAPRA. Guest ID shall be returned to the Glen Cove PBA Pistol and Rifle Association after completion of term. Anyone who fails to return any Association property shall be liable to any violation of the NYS Penal Law, which may be applied. Members will also be charged a fee of $25 if Guest ID is not returned.

9. All Guests using the Firing Range must be accompanied by a Member who is a Range Officer. Guests under the age of 21 who will be firing a handgun must be accompanied by a Member who is the Guest’s Parent or Guardian and a Member who is a current NRA Certified Pistol Instructor.

10. Guests will be required to follow the same Range Rules and Regulations as the Members. Failure to adhere to the Range Rules and Regulations shall result in Member’s suspension or termination and a permanent suspension of the Guest.

11. Members will be allowed up to 3 Guests at any one time.

12. A Guest Pass is required for each Guest. Multiple Guests are not permitted to share a single Guest pass. Members shall not lend guest identification or Range property to guests other than the guest that it was issued to. Those in violation of this section shall have their membership suspended or terminated, with no refund of the current year’s dues.

13. Guest passes will be valid for only the approved dates requested in the application. A single Guest pass can be purchased for a maximum of 7 consecutive days. There is no limit on how many times the Member can bring the Guest during the approved dates.

14. The fee for a Guest Pass is $20/day or $100/week. Payment is required at the time of Guest Application submission. If a Guest becomes a Member, previous Guest fees paid within the calendar year will be credited to the Membership fees.

15. Member’s failure to adhere to any item of the above Guest policy shall result in Membership suspension or
termination.

By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the rules, regulations, and policies of the Glen Cove PBA Pistol and Rifle Association. I understand that the primary purpose of my membership is to allow for convenient access to the facility primarily for firearms instruction and training but that occasional social/recreational activities may be held. I also give the Glen Cove PBA Pistol and Rifle Association permission to collect information regarding the validity of my United States citizenship, criminal record, and pistol permit information. I have also answered all questions truthfully and to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that any false statements made herein will result in immediate termination of my membership and I may be reported to the appropriate governmental authorities for investigation and/or possible prosecution for wrongdoing under applicable law.
